Expect to see weekly updates and product announcements here as well as some examples of what the community is doing with the public beta and how people are using Flash Catalyst. If you have something to share, please send me an email. Hopefully you’re getting excited about Catalyst and there is going to be no better place to get your fill than at Adobe MAX this year. We’ve got a ton of great Catalyst content and most of the Flash Catalyst team will be there so it’s your chance to meet the people behind the product as well as get your feedback directly into the team. There will also be some surprises in store from the team. We’ve got a lot of sessions lined with engineers as the speakers so you get to hear everything about the product from the horse’s mouth. Here’s a list of sessions at MAX. Make sure to check out Andrew Shorten’s “Bring Your Own Laptop” session so you can get hands on with Flash Catalyst as well as Steven Heintz’s roadmap session for the future vision of Flash Catalyst. A Deep Dive into Ten Innovative Projects for Flash Explore innovative projects such as external devices communication, PDF generation on-the-fly, arcade game emulation, and augmented reality. We will unveil the technical details behind these projects and focus on business needs solved thanks to the Adobe Flash Platform. Get ready for PDF and ActionScript manipulation, Bluetooth communication, advanced use of the Adobe AIR runtime, high-level client-server communication with LiveCycle ES, and even CPU emulation. This session will feed your imagination and teach you advanced technical tips and tricks using the Flash Platform.
